Requirements For Students to Undertake Practice Tests
In high school there is an equivalency test done to measure the candidate’s skills on various subjects. Math, Social studies and language arts are some of the specific subjects that students engage in and sit for a test. You are supposed to raise some fees estimated at between $ 30 to $ 100 which is calculated on varying basis depending on a specific state. You must have attained 16 years and above to sit for that specific examination.
You should never have graduated from any accredited high school with either a diploma or certificate and any other equivalent documentation. For students to undertake the test they should not be enrolled with any other regular high school and currently receiving education. Any student who anticipates to sit for the exam should be able to provide either a drivers’ license, identification card or a valid passport.
A student cannot sit for the exam online, but they should present themselves physically at the legally registered examination centers. Visit the website of state examination administrator to find out more information that regard to where the test centers are located and any further details. You get to know the basic requirements for a student to sit for the examination and other details once you visit their website. An average of 145 marks is the required score for any student to be confirmed passed. Three hours later after the student completes the examination they get to receive their respective score line. If a student fails to acquire the required pass mark they can retake the tests of the specific subject without necessarily having a waiting period. It is allowed that a student can only undertake the tests three times from the first fail. A maximum of 60 days are the ones a student should wait to re-sit for the exam if they fail the first three attempts.
Within 12 months of students retaking the tests they should pay a fee of $20. Forty dollars should be paid by any student who opts to do the retake beyond the set one year period. Students are required to re-sit for the test if the exam they did was beyond January 2014 since they are considered expired. Students can get their scores if they did the tests later than January 2014 since the results were computerized. Four weeks later after the examination day students receive their diploma or transcripts. It is expected and allowed to every exam institution that students should take some rest after every exam to freshen their brain muscles.
